Named for an old circular stone reservoir dating from 1798, the square has a fountain topped by an old waterwheel. Back in the day this fountain pumped fresh water (before New York City had any such luxury). A popular gathering place in the evening with dancing and reggae music.

The Falmouth Courthouse and Town Hall
The original building (1817) was destroyed by fire on August 19, 1926. The courthouse was rebuilt in 1930 using many of the walls still standing.
